Thank you!!

I always thought the 72 thing was because it was 6 12s, but your explanation makes equal sense.

I like your explanation of the virgins. For the life of us we couldn’t work it out - even in Mohammed’s time they knew births of males and females were roughly 1 to 1. It’s why we went for the Djinn theory in the end - well established in the culture and it wouldn’t be the first bit of cultural appropriation a religion has done.

Respect.

Why are there Christians and Jews in the Islamic Republic of Iran? You’ve been around Muslims so long and never heard of dhimmitude?

Christians and Jews always held positions in those countries. It ALWAYS had to do with the broad FAMILY STATUS. Over there, it's not what you do, it's who your family is.

THAT truly is how things work over there. Always have; PROBABLY always will.

Most families have "bad apples" now and then and THAT is always understood too but it doesn't diminish the general status of a family.

Well, it DOES depend on whether they meet the standard criteria, which knowing middle east logic, may change from, day to day.
FAMILY STATUS. I'll say it again. Big family status = FREE PASS.

Jizyah is for persona non grata IN GENERAL. It's very difficult to explain their logic to a Westerner. THEIR logic and ours are ... different. Know that and you will know the middle eastern mind.

Try and figure it out with YOUR logical, Western mind and you will end up with a headache the size of Jupiter.

THAT is the truth.

Tell me about it when they allow Christians to become citizens or worship openly.

The use of “Western” speaks volumes, BTW.

I worshiped openly. All of us Christians/Catholics did.
The Saudis I worked with (30 of them) thought that it was JUST FINE when I went to pray. THEY did so five times a day.
Worship of God was an integral part of their lives and they understood that it was the same for me.

Why does it go so much against your grain to be so harsh to the OTHER and by far larger percentage of the Muslims (the majority of whom are NOT Arabs) who are just regular JoeSchmoes from Kokomo?

There are always evil, wicked people in this world but to condemn an entire nation, faith and culture for what a HANDFUL of evil-doers did?

To me, that seems to lack clear, straight thinking. And THAT is not YOU.

I don't know why it should. It only indicates Europeans and, well those who strive to imitate us.

By and large,"European" indicates "Christian" and thus includes Central, South America, Australia...and now some of Africa, which is NOT European.

How did you “worship openly” when it’s against the law there? The religious police crack down on worship of any other religion than Islam and they don’t allow priests in.

If you want to make up stories, there are “fan fiction” websites.

Lol, YOU are the one in denial.
We lived in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, for FIVE years. You could go to ARAMCO.com or Saudi Aramco.com...but you probably won't because it might cause you to think outside your little box of denial and delusion.

There are THOUSANDS of Americans in Saudi Arabia, working for the petroleum/natural gas companies.
The first Americans were over there in the 1920's with Standard Oil, Texaco, Flying A and Shell (Dutch). Since then most Americans over there are from Texas, California and Oklahoma as those states have petroleum/natural gas fields.
BUT don't even THINK about contacting them in any way, shape or form...you MIGHT, inshallah, learn something outside your little box of denial and illusion.

We lived there and it was the adventure of our lives. Al hamdu lillah!!

Does your face fit your name? Hahahahaha.

Denial of what? Knowing taqiyyah when I see it?
