Authorities blocked off access to Ferguson on Monday night and KTVI-TV reported that police in riot gear were using tear gas to disperse a crowd of protesters. It said there were reports of rubber bullets being fired. KMOV-TV said the tear gas was being fired at people gathering near a major intersection.
Looting and unrest had broken out Sunday night following a candlelight vigil for 18-year-old Michael Brown, who police said was shot multiple times Saturday after being confronted by an officer in Ferguson, a suburb of 21,000 that's nearly 70 percent black.
Witnesses have said Brown had his hands raised and that the officer was white.

When a couple of black gang thugs shoots some poor little boy or girl try and find a witness even though half the neighborhood probably saw it-but when some white cop shoots a black gang-banger suddenly the witnesses come from miles away.
Even back in 1957, driving from Scott AFB through East St. Louis across the bridge required a prudent driver to have a cocked 1911, strategically placed under a pillow on the passenger’s seat.

Quite reasonable. Liquor stores have always been an allegorical representation of oppression by the mostly white oppressor class.
Well, that and free booze and new flat screen TV’s are an elegant expression of the internal rage generated by years of slavery and losing several of the last crap games.
