“Won’t happen. Big pharma will slap it down as they always do.”

The leftist paranoia and irrationality even exists here.

Sad.

Your experience is subjective and non-verifiable and probably not true, but only perceived to be true, but for the sake of argument let’s accept it.

Your experience could be true but is in the vast minority of experience with use of hallucinogens such as mushrooms, ecstasy type drugs, and marijuana.

Generally math skills decrease in those who use these drugs.

Obama smoked dope a lot. He probably took LSD or mushrooms.

Unfortunately most everyone born around that time in the late 50’s early 60’s who were in high school in the 70’s did those things.

It was ubiquitous.

I wonder what hallucinogens Barry the Light Worker used, and how often?

“Generally math skills decrease in those who use these drugs.”

I personally know a world-renowned mathematician who privately attributes his discoveries to LSD and mushrooms.

I also know many extraordinarily brilliant researchers and inventors who use psychedelics for creativity sessions.

Since they are highly illegal to even touch, people with a reputation to maintain will not admit to it.

Psychedelics are dangerous when abused for fun but can definitely be responsibly used as powerful brainstorming tools for creative types.

I am well aware of the sort of things you are saying.

I used to believe such things 30 years ago.

Cary Mullis, who invented the polymerase chain reaction and deseverdly won the Nobel Prize for it, said the idea came to him under the influence of LSD.

Why did you ‘used to’ believe if you are aware of numerous real examples?

Because the ideas would come anyhow and probably with more regularity and clarity.

And for the sake of argument accepting some examples, they are rare and not representative by a long shot of the actual short term and long term effects.
