This is Detroit, Just go out to the sidewalk, find a wrench and turn the frigging water back on. I bet 50% of the burned out houses that infest Detroit still has their water turned on....

Funny thing is, Detroit gets its water from lake Huron, about 10 miles north of Port Huron and pipes it all the way down to the city. But I know what you’re saying: water shut off? grab a bucket, chump.

The LA Times printed this picture of a resident who couldn’t pay her water bill. I’m pretty sure I know where she could save enough each month to afford to pay her bill. http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-detroit-water-20140629-story.html#page=1

I’m not aware of any country in the world where urban piped water is free, particularly not potable water.

Detroit was once the most prosperous city in America. The city was controlled at every level by Democrats. Now it is a third world nation. Do the math.

I think Detroit should be a wake up call for all reasonable Americans. Detroit is the end product of the poisonous policies of the Democratic party. Today it's Detroit but there are a lot of cities out there that aren't far behind.M
