Great little city. Moved here 8 years ago never want to live anywhere else.
Area’s out near Simpsonville very nice.
Greenville has really become a great place to live.

How is the cost if you’re dead;>)
Some may think I am repeating an old joke or urban legend but I will swear on my Confederate Great Granpappy’s grave this is the absolute truth. I tried working as a recruiter in an employment agency in Columbia over forty years ago, one day a young graduate from Benedict college came in looking for work. He filled out an application and in the space which asked for hobbies he entered “chest”. After talking to him I truly wanted to advise him to go and look for an attorney willing to sue the school to get his money back for him but I knew better than to say it. It really was a shame for someone to spend several years when he could have at least been earning minimum wage or better and building usable skills in a school which seemed to be set up for the purpose of making the graduate less equipped for life than when he entered.

Arrest made in deadly shooting at boarding house
COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -
Columbia police made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting at a boarding house Saturday.
Police responded to the home in the 1300 block of Pine Street near downtown and found a man with a gunshot wound around 4:30 p.m., Jennifer Timmons with the Columbia Police Department said.
The man was transported to the hospital where he later died, Timmons said.
The victim's name has not been released.
On Sunday, Timmons said Joseph Jacob Minson, 58, was arrested and charged with murder.
The property manager of the boarding house said the victim was shot on the back porch and both the victim and suspect were residents of the home.
Timmons said witnesses told police that they heard Minson and the victim arguing moments before the shooting.
Minson was transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
Let me fix that for you.

Thanks for the update.
I guess I owe the feral youths an apology. At that time of day they were no doubt sleeping off the previous nights festivities.
Older chap, boarding house, probably arguing about a woman would be my first guess followed by either money or dope.
Well, there’s that, too. lol
