[Year Old Associated Press] Photos of McCain Yukking-it-Up with ISIS Rebels, Rand Paul Says It's WE
Reaganite Republican ^ | 22 June 2014

Then there's this one ISIS just posted on their website.

The guy in the mustache/striped shirt posting with McCain is
General Salim Idris, who was the Free Syrian Army's Chief of Staff
at the time.

An East German-trained electronics professor, he was a general in the Syrian Army under Assad when he defected to the rebels in July 2012.
Idris was thought by McCain to represent the moderate elements of
Syria's armed opposition, who subscribed to the pro-democracy Proclamation of Principles.

But ISIS kicked him -and other 'moderates'- out and went on the savage offensive we all now are witnessing.

The ISIS claims that the men on that photo fight with them in Iraq now...
And while I usually give little merit the isolationist foreign policy musings of Rand Paul -and even less the old man- he had a pretty good point on CNN Sunday morning.

Why listen to him this time? Because Susan Rice already let the cat out of the bag two weeks ago...

McCain seems to have escaped from the Alzheimer’s ward. Someone must have left the electronic lock open

Let’s face the reality. Iraq is lost. So is Libya. So is Syria. Egypt has been saved temporarily by military ousting Muslim Brotherhood, but next election could again elect Muslim Brotherhood leader.

All this rise of ISIS and Jihadi heaven can be traced straight to ousting of Saddam. In hindsight, starting Iraq was will go down in history as the biggest blunder of US foreign policy. May be second worst after Vietnam fiasco where 50,000 brave soldiers were sacrificed.

Even if Obummer had listened to the generals and left behind 20,000 US troops, that would do nothing to change Libya, Syria & Egypt. ISIS has established a foothold in Syria, and 20,000 US troops can not hold off ISIS from breaking up Iraq.

Rand Paul may be right...do not get involved in the Iraq quagmire. The horse is out of the barn.

McCain has a history of arming Muslim jihadis going back to Kosovo.

You are totally wrong.

The current situation is the direct consequence of the Obama Administration’s instigated and supported of the Arab Spring and the illegal war on Libya, which we also were the prime instigators of.

Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood and Moresi was the staging ground for the overthrow of Libya.

After Libya, the Jihadi and the weapons captured from Libya went to Syria to fuel the insurgency there and to over throw Assad.

Many of the al-Qaeda ISIS Jihadi were trained by the US military art the orders of whom else but Obama

Since they have been unable to overthrow Assad, al-Qaeda’s ISIS terrorists have moved on Iraq to gain territory and resupply with weapons since they were cut off from Obama supplied weapons from Libya.

With Muzzies it’s a military strong arm General dictator OR a cleric nutcase Islamist dictator. Take your pick.

We armed these militants and they’ll be aiming the guns at us the second they get rid of the enemy ahead of us on their list.

If Saddam was still the ruling dictator in Iraq, Mubarak does not get overthrown. Dictators in Libya (Gaddafi) and Syria (Bashar Assad) would also keep their power. These dictators have proven records of keeping Jihadi’s in check for decades. Which means Al Qaeda and the Jihadi’s have no foot hold in the middle-east oil rich countries.

Saddam was the first domino. Saddam was never a Jihadi.

Your history is flawed here.

Saddam was actively supporting and driving world terror and Gaddafi was doing the same and he also was very close to building a nuclear bomb.

He was pawned by the North Vietnamese into do radio broadcasts for them and now he’s been pawned by a gang of terrorists. I wonder what his relationship with the RATs is.

Maybe the founders should have made a revolution every 25 years or so part of the Constitution.
