A man was jailed on suspicion of battery after rushing up and touching Brad Pitt on the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of the movie “Maleficent,” witnesses and police said, though Pitt was apparently unhurt and soon resumed signing autographs.
Witnesses saw the man from the fan area jump over a barrier onto the red carpet at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and rush at Pitt, touching him briefly before security guards wrestled him back across the barrier. …

As an aside, when I was a kid, Disney did movies about heroes, now they make them about villains. I don’t approve.
If I were Pitt, I'd talk to my publicist about having this characterized as an "attack". The whole story makes him look like a sheltered wimp.
Pitt must bruise easily.
Reminds me of comedian Jack E. Leonard: “Don’t touch me, I’m a star.” Of course, HE was saying it in jest.
What???? An unwashed, filthy peasant dared to actually lay his grimy, unmanicured hands on one of the Most High???? How could such an outrage occur and why is this vermin still breathing???
From that article we get the inconvenient fact that the violence was committed by a non-Ameican (Ukranian).
We also get some photos of of the perp's past criminal actions - the nature of which leave me no doubt as to another inconvenient fact about the perp.

The guy who jumped out at Pitt is a psycho who targets celebrities as they appear on red carpets at various charity and industry events. He leaps out at them and does strange things to them before security can get at him....like when he recently fell to his knees and put his face in the crotch of a entertainment figure. Like when he fell to the carpet on his back and put his face under the long gown of an actress.
It isn't so funny to celebrities who are targeted by this nut case, especially when you think of what happened to John Lennon and other entertainment figures.
