Importantly, a good argument can be made that a serrated knife will inflict a far more traumatic, and harder to repair injury than a smooth blade; and because of its serrations is more likely to "grab" the surface thus insuring a cut, as well as cutting through multiple layers of fabric.
If it had been our neighborhood each PB would have received a .40 cal to the head.
german shepherd vs. pit bull,
not sure how that would work out. we had a golden retriever that bit the hell out of a shepherd a couple years back. and i don’t consider that breed at all tough.
i guess it depends on the dog and the training.
now that i think of it, we did have a couple hog hunting dogs, one a rott-lab cross that was a ferocious 125 pounder. nice to people but brutal on wild hogs.
thanks for that clarification. was wondering myself, although surprised the gun murder rte is low, it bought 15,000 people a year got shot. or is that just killed, not shot?
i’m sorry’if the dogs are attacking the owner’s lost control and if i am being attacked i’m not waiting for her to get control back, as i’m not a f@cking chew toy for your damn dogs.
Our German Shepherds should be able to stand off a Pit.My male Rottweiler would destroy a Pit in short order.Of course my model 19 would settle them down real quick.
Filet knife? A cut to the quick device..
I’d use a fire hydrant if I could break it loose
Not sure if they make holsters for them tho.
Hmm... I saw a Doberman open wide jaws like a Cobra and crush the head of German Shepperd... Same Dobberman would lose to a pit bull...
I guess there are huge Shepherds out there. good point.
< Who walks around with a butcher knife?”
Who? Those who don’t want to pay out the $400 for a permit to exercise a right that should be guaranteed by the Constitution; that’s who.
My experience having raised a 150# Rottie from a pup and doing all the proper training, disagrees with your labeling of the breed as an attack dog in the same breath with a Pit Bull.
A male Rottie is 2 to 2.5 times the weight of a Pit; but, with a working dogs temperament. They are protective, assertive but not prone to initiate aggression. They have the physical attributes of great strength and speed, and often are acquired for intimidation/ bragging rights.
