Trayvon Martin Foundation To Host Summit For Mothers Who Have Lost Children to Gun Violence

The Trayvon Martin Foundation will host a two-day healing retreat for mothers who have experienced gun violence.

The “Circle of Mothers Empowerment Retreat,” spearheaded Sybrina Fulton will be held in Weston, Florida from May 16-18 and will include workshops, empowerment seminars, and keynote speeches by influencers including rapper Tupac Shakur‘s mother Afeni Shakur.

Fulton is inviting all mothers, not just African-Americans, who have lost a child. “The loss of a child is unbearable,” she said in a statement. “The goal of this retreat is to gather together women, who like myself have experienced every mother’s nightmare.”

Both Shakur and Fulton have lost sons very publicly and have transformed their loss into social change. Both hope this weekend will help mothers by giving them the tools to “take the progressive steps forward towards healing,” said Fulton.

Trayvon should NOT have had Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin for parents, who didn't discipline their unruly son, when he needed it.
Then they refused to admit to themselves, at each step along the way toward this disaster, that their son, Trayvon Martin, had a real problem and needed professional help!

Had the situation been handled different by Trayvon Martin, he might still be alive.
For instance, what if it had gone like null and void suggested ?
