That's not true? If you're just watching the news without personal hands-on experience flying on airliner's cockpit, you won't know if what they're saying really make sense or not. Their news actually laughable.

Amazing — Malaysians leak a little bit more today when pressed but then change their story again:

Previously they said the plane climbed to 43,000ft-45,000ft after it turned around. Now they say that it only climbed to 39,000ft because the safe limit was 41,000ft — and we know that the hijacker would want to stay under the limit, don’t we???

Investigators have determined that the missing jet was equipped with four emergency locator transmitters, or ELTs, which are designed to transmit a plane’s location to an emergency satellite when triggered by a crash or by contact with water.

The ELTs were at the plane’s front door, its rear door, in the fuselage and in the cockpit — 4 of them. What are the odds of 4 not activating???

So why did they not activate?

If they did not activate, then why did the Malaysians claim early on that it crashed into the waters of the South China Sea with no ELT verification???

or did they activate and activated as designed when they went into the waters of the Indian Ocean after 8:11 in the morning, and the Malaysians just kept their mouths shut because they wanted to maintain the charade that the plane went down in the South China Sea earlier in the morning.

The plane going down in the South China Sea in the early morning would have worked out well for the Malaysians — but the plane going down in the south Indian Ocean is their worst nightmare.

Inmarsat has communication satellites that cover the flightpath possibilities of MH370. One satellite monitors the Atlantic, another the Pacific, and the third one, a 3F1 satellite, is roughly located south of Pakistan over the Indian Ocean.

Had MH370 flown to north it would have flown out of the range of the 3F1 and into the range of Inmarsat’s Atlantic Satellite, which would have picked up the ping. The only satellite that did receive pings was the Indian Ocean satellite.

at the below link, go down about 1/2 an inch on the slidebar and there is a graphic that shows how the satellite coverages loop and overlap each other.

also a very interesting discussion on ‘pings’. have fun :)

Missing Malaysia plane: No distress signals can be emitted underwater, says Honeywell

“The (ELT) system is activated by G-force caused by an impact. However, it is not designed or mandated to operate underwater,’’ a Honeywell Aerospace spokesperson said.

http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/aircraft-distress-beacons-do-not-function-under-water-114032100667_1.html

Could the failure of the ELT to activate as designed mean that MH370 did not crash in the water — but was ditched in the water by the pilot?
