Yeah, exactly. A rogue pilot is the worst possible scenario for Malaysian Airlines and Malaysia itself.

I believe that is why he did it - as a protest for the charges, almost certainly trumped up, - against Anwar.


Airline captain is a pretty plum job to have in a place like Malaysia. I don’t doubt he was getting some serious heat for his public anti government politics in an authoritarian place like Malaysia. There is motive right there.

Always remember when you look at beef on the hoof, hogs in a pen, and sheep in a field, there’s is not a conspiratorial mind in the bunch. The “powers that be” want us to be sheep and cattle and listening intently to their media, and not be wasting our time doing our own critical thinking.
