I know this bugs the heck out of everyone when duplicate threads show up.

Please be considerate and SEARCH before posting!

Actually multiple postings do not bother me unless they are close together. If they’re spread out through the day it keeps interesting topics in the mix so that they get more attention. Then on the other hand FReeper’s search function is user unfriendly like the activity function that hasn’t worked for me in about 3 years.

The worst offenders seem to never show up on any Freepathon threads...

Sometimes you search, find nothing on your topic, then start making your post, only to find that someone else had the same idea while you were putting your post format together.

Make sure you search on a key word or phrase from your topic title, and/or for the article's author.

Make sure you have all the data on your article--including the html-tagged excerpt--ready for posting, and do your search just before preparing your submission.

Searching for the full title under “titles” has never failed me.

Searching for the full title under “titles” has never failed me.

Regarding the phrase "son of Mary" is one aspect of Jesus' relationship to her, and you might claim it also as a title. Regenerated believer-disciple-priests are also relationally children--sons and daughters (not capitalized in AV or DRB as proper nouns)--of The God, but only Jesus has the title "Son", given by The Father.

In Isaiah 7:14, 9:16, and capitalized as a proper noun in Mark 1:11, "Son" is a title, proclaimed by The God, and not merely a relationship term, as it is usually employed.

To firmly stamp this, Jesus became the Only Begotten Son, the only human Son flesh-begotten by The Father, as was Adam. He was not merely made in the image of Elohim, He Is Elohim, God With Us.

Son of Mary is acceptable to Muslims. Son of God is not. Their Allah had no son. Capisce?

(With reverence . . .)

O, boy, have I ever misunderstood your terse observation. I assigned this to another thread where "title" was concurrently an issue, because I didn't read The TITLE of this thread in whipping up an irrelevant answer to a proposition you weren't making.

Please forgive my error, eh?!

There is absolutely no need to apologize.

In fact, I want to thank you for giving me the best head scratching, thought provoking, quizzically mind bending moments of the day so far.

Do you happen to have any good recipes for Tabouli?

I looked up tabouli. It really looks good on the internet sites. I'm going to order it the very next time I go to the Golden Dove (Turkish) restaurant here. And I go there a lot.

Thanks for the hint --

I was taught to make it by an Armenian friend who grew up in Jerusalem. His cuisine was pan-cultural.

I have developed some variations on it by adding cilantro with the parsley (about half and half) and including yellow, orange and red bell peppers,

I also go pretty heavy on the garlic and lemon juice.

For the wheat, use a medium (#2 Bulgar) and soak it overnight in clean water.

There really are no “rules” so other spices to taste, including some hot sauce. I use Crystal.

I know there are some purists out there fainting about now, but experiment and find the taste you like best. Traditionally served on a Romaine lettuce leaf, but we like chips too.
