Legislators stunned the pundits this evening by defeating a $200 million taxpayer giveaway to illegal aliens students in New York's Senate, which had the strong support of Governor Andrew Cuomo.

The 'DREAM Act' was defeated by a 30-29 vote in the state Senate just minutes ago in Albany.

The RINO senate supermajority in TN is trying to pass a Dream act. I dont know what the likelihood is in the upper or lower house. It passed committee 6-3.

This immigration BS is not popular amongst some moderate Republicans. This is one thing Scott Brown got right when running for office. Appeal to the 90% of people who are non-Hispanic and take your shirt off for the low information women voters.

Regarding the TN bills, it doesn't look like they've passed either committee yet. From the TN General Assembly site it's on the House Education Subcommittee calendar for tomorrow (3/18) and the Senate's bill is on their education committee calendar for Wed. (3/19). It looks like they're both still in committee.

Sen. Ted O’Brien, a Democrat from the Rochester area, was the only member in his conference to vote no on the bill.

No Republicans voted for the measure, though all five of their coalition partners in the Independent Democratic Conference voted for it.

These guys sound independent in the same way Claire McCaskill calls herself independent. Being the 50th most liberal Senator in 2009-2012 when Democrats had up to 60 Senators.

“Texas, New Mexico, California and Washington state allow students who are in the country illegally access to state financial aid.”
I guess they don’t have a heart.

Two Democrats wound up breaking party ranks.

I salute them, but I'm sure there'll be repercussions.

Along with abortion at will, this is the litmus test issue for the modern Democratic Party.

Now they need to make it illegal for illegals to get legal aid at taxpayer expense. The NYC City Council is cooking this one up right now. The plan: First they hand out “documents,” then they sue the businesses who choose not to hire these charming folks.

On the first day of school in NYC, every child has to bring in paper supplies: paper towels and the like. There’s no budget for them.

Interesting day to vote on the DREAM Act.

Drudge has an article up that says Hispanics will outnumber whites in California by the end of March.

Texas is close behind, but Texas has more whites than California, so it will take Hispanics until about 2020 to catch up.

It’s not quite Doomsday for Conservatives - yet.

About 44% of Hispanics are eligible voters.

Close to 80% of whites are eligible voters, plus, white Conservatives almost always have the highest turn out.

High Conservative turn out is the only thing that has kept America from going completely Socialist in the last 20 years.

Oh, but then we’re gonna hear that the student’s family can’t afford these things. After all, I have to watch them leave the first period classroom to go to the cafeteria and pick up their free breakfast, which they then spend half the class eating and leaving the refuse behind stuffed into their desk, being too lazy to to toss it in the classroom wastebasket. Then watch them eat their free lunch, leaving half the perfectly good food or using it to pelt their classmates. Ka ching, ka ching, right into the big rolling garbage cans being pushed around the cafeteria by TEACHERS, as the students are too lazy to take their lunch trash over to a garbage can. I’d be willing to bet a large percentage of the students eating this taxpayer funded food are ILLEGALS, with no right to eat the food. And DiBlah-blah wants to expand the Pre-K program, which is just another scheme to feed and breed more illegals.

Brace yourselves taxpayers: the greedy latino lawyer, Eduardo Ferszt, (repping the greedy scumbag latino suing first responsers who saved his life) is clueing-in greedy latino NYC lawyers, as we type. Suing? For what? For Anything......anything to get money.

=====================================================

Dumbocrats voting against the Dream Act are running scared. Taxpayers have had it with latino parasites----sucking up tax dollars 24/7......riding the US gravy train using multiple identities, and, falsifying official govt documents, fraudulently claiming EITC refunds, getting tax-paid EBT cards and shipping EBT food to the Third World where the food is sold for profit.

===============================================

NY POST EXCLUSIVE REPORT New York food stamp recipients ship welfare-funded groceries to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti....and so on. Tax-subsidized food stamps are paying to buy and ship food to Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic....where the food is sold for profit.

A spokeswoman for the US Dept of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service said the $86 BILLION welfare program is reserved for poor US households that buy and prepare food. "States should intervene if people are caught shipping non- perishables abroad", she said.

A senior fellow at the Cato Institute called it another example of welfare abuse. “The purpose of this program is to help Americans who don’t have enough to eat. This is not intended as a form of foreign aid.” As an example, US taxpayers spent $522.7 million on foreign aid to the Caribbean last fiscal year, govt data show.

HERE'S HOW The "needy connivers" buy barrels available in supermarkets in latino enclaves---then ship them filled with $500 to $2,000 worth of EBT-paid groceries to Third World---where the groceries are sold for cash. Pioneer Supermarket, Brooklyn, flagrantly sells blue plastic barrels for $40 each used to ship food bought w/ EBT cards to the Caribbean.

PEW REPORT The US is the most important source of remittances to Latin America, accounting for 3/4's of last year's $52.9 billion total. -- wire transfers of US tax dollars accounted for the highest percentage of GDP in El Salvador (16.5%), Honduras (15.7%) and Guatemala 10%).-- The US is No. 1 nation from which illegals' wire transfers originate, sending $123.3 billion abroad in 2012.

SEN SCHUMER (Dimwit-NY) said: "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers. How are they going to remember all that? (The) purpose of the amnesty bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.

Democrat Senator Harry Reid Supports Giving Illegal Aliens Tax Credits for Kids Not Even Living in US Townhall.com ^ | October 30, 2013 | Mike Shedlock / FR Posted by Kaslin

US Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas, wants to end the practice of giving illegal immigrants tax credits for kids, but U.S. Sen.

Harry Reid, D-Nev., won’t let the House-approved measure H.R. 556 through the Senate. "The System is Working Fine" says Senator Harry Reid, even though the Joint Committee on Taxation calculates that enactment of H.R. 556 would save taxpayers $24.4 billion over the next decade.

The House of Representatives repeatedly has passed an IRS bill that could save U.S. taxpayers up to $24.4 billion over the next 10 years — but Harry Reid’s Democratic Senate will not hear it.

The Refundable Child Tax Credit Eligibility Verification Reform Act, or H.R. 556, would require tax filers to provide Social Security numbers to claim child tax credits.

Currently, the IRS allows undocumented residents to collect the $1,000 credits for dependents not even living in the country.

Watchdog reported that illegal immigrants received $4.2 billion from the tax agency in just one year. “My bill (targets) billions of dollars in waste, fraud and abuse. Instead of hitting up taxpayers for even more taxes, Washington needs to go after these billions of dollars,” said Rep. Johnson, R-Texas.

Though the GOP-controlled House has passed Johnson’s measure three times, Senate Majority Leader Reid, D-Nev., refuses to allow the bill to come up for a vote in his chamber. “The IRS has been doling out the credit to tax filers claiming children who do not even live in the country,” Johnson charged.
