I've never posted a thread before, but I thought FReepers might want this information. I just contacted Netflix to let them know that I do NOT want to see Gay / Lesbian films listed under the "Romance" category. I've been a Netflix subscriber since the early days, but this is my second dispute with them the last few months (the first was over the Sarah Palin bashing tweet from April, 2013).
I told them that I understand they may have a market for these films, but listing them under "Romance" amounts to pushing their GLBT agenda on customers, and that in doing so, they stand to lose a lot of conservative subscribers. They apologized and said they would mark my account so these films would not appear in my searches, but I insisted that they should never have defaulted these films under the "Romance" category to begin with.
I encourage other like-minded Netflix subscribers to voice your displeasure over this. I used the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page, and chose the "chat" option.
Unfortunately, having just finished my day at work, I was still stuck in my large corporation management PC mode. Actually I believe even using the word homophobe would get me a very quick appointment with an HR rep and possibly termination. As many phone calls and emails as I receive in my off time, my company mandated PC mode gets stuck in the on position. Sometimes it just needs a good slap and coming here can be good for that lol

I cancelled my subscription and switched to Amazon. However, Amazon similarly presents that degrading filth as mainstream.

Do what I do. Rate all the homo movies one star (hated it). Pretty soon you’ll notice they never come up in their list of suggestions for you.

You gotta watch out for them.....I was searching for SCI FI movies and ran across one that had “1313 Invaders” (or something like that). Turned out to be a soft porn Gay Boy movie with some old SCI FI actress as the lead who was the alien who was “inspecting” these guys. Total Gay wad....
The lesbian ones are even more subtle.
You can do one better. If you log into Netflix on your computer and as you pass over the movie (not clicking) you’ll see the ratings box. Underneath is a “not interested” block....I use that for EVERY homo, left wing documentary, left wing movie, and anything that has any of these people in it:

Richard Dreyfus
Tim Robbins
Ben Affleck
Leonardo DiCaprio
Robin Williams
Ed Asner
Rosie O’Donnell
Cher
Barbara Streisand
and a host of others.
