Rock n' Roll" Zumhofe allegedly bolted after he was convicted of sexually abusing his daughter

Zumhofe was known for lugging a boombox to the ring. He was a star in Minneapolis for the AWA and had a few cups of coffee with the WWF.

Yesterday, former AWA star and WWF wrestler "Rock n' Roll" Buck Zumhofe was convicted of 12 felony counts of criminal sexual conduct. The charges stemmed from allegations he sexually abused his daughter 1,800 times between 1999 and 2011, when the woman, now age 29, finally left his Cyrus, Minnesota, home.

THE BACKSTORY: Zumhofe allegedly sexually abused his daughter between 1999 and 2011

Zumhofe, 62, will be sentenced today. He'll likely spend the rest of his life behind bars. But just after the verdict came down, he allegedly made one last dash for freedom.

Last night, a tipster got in touch to let us know Zumhofe tried to flee the courtroom after the verdict was read. That's corroborated by Kandiyohi County's jail log, which indicates a charge of "escape from custody" has been added to the list of Zumhofe's sex felonies.

I hope his daughter can heal from this.

Throw the book at him.

As a wrasslin’ fan in the 70s as a kid, I don’t remember this guy at all.

Read right over Cyrus MN; thought “Kandiyohi County’s jail log” was somewhere in 3rd world. Coffee helps...

If I remember correctly, he mostly wrestled in the AWA, and with some of the regional southern promotions. I seem to remember him being a "jobber" in the WWF/WWE for a brief period at the end of his career.

Lock him up and throw away the key.

Me and my crew used to go to all the AWA TV taping shows in the 80s and saw Buck Zumhofe many times. He was a fun high energy wrestler that usually lost.

There was one match where, it may have been Bobby Heenan, smashed Buck Zumhofes boom box into a million pieces and Buck cried. So funny.

Now he is as creepy as creepy gets.

A girl I went to high school with recently reported seeing Zumhofe in a local twin city suburban bar and she went and talked to him and he asked her if she wanted to go outside and make out.

What a scumbag.

“Bobby [the Brain] Heenan”

perhaps the smartest man in the wrestling, maybe even the world.
