The only thing good about punishing foul language at the line will be that the NFL might be able to live telecast the sound more loudly and clearly than they generally have in the past with less fear of offending audiences.
This might actually lead to making the games a bit more exciting.
There are lots of things that the players can say to each other to intimidate, threaten, or confuse their opponents without stooping to profanity.
Yeah, watching teams go backwards because someone said a naughty word would be so exciting I’d stop watching on Day One.
