And now, for your Louisville moment of the day: Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammed, a 2014 linebacker who signed with Louisville, was arrested yesterday for impregnating his 14-year-old cousin.
Fort Pierce, Florida police discovered the two had sex after the teenage girl gave her mom a positive pregnancy test and admitted what happened. She told police that Rhaheed-Muhammed didn’t force himself on her and that the sex “just happened,” and that he later tried again, but she refused. She had an abortion in November, and tests confirm that Rhaheed-Muhammaed is the father.
Rhaheed-Muhammaed was arrested on a felony charge of lewd lascivious behavior yesterday, and was released today. According to a UofL spokesman, Bobby Petrino “is aware of the situation.”
Prime candidate for the NFL.
I guess he won’t be attending the next family reunion.
There is a 3 year age difference between the two so they were both underage at the time. I think.
It is the south you know.
Did you see his name? Where is he from, South Yemen?
“Prime candidate for the NFL.”
Seriously, he ought to skip the joke that ‘college’ is for most athletes and just go straight to the NFL.
Aka its Kentucky you know!
That was uncalled for.
This is curious. Or is it typical for a paternity test to be run for an abortion?
I guess he just couldn’t wait to begin his life of depravity.
Albert Einstein was married to his cousin.
“Rhaheed-Muhammad, 17, was arrested on a felony charge of lewd lascivious behavior - victim age 12 to 16 after officials determined with a greater than 99.99 percent probability that he fathered a child with a 14-year-old girl””
Ages 17 and 14, not the sex crime of the century.
Wure he will. He’ll be looking for his next score.
Sure he will. He’ll be looking for his next score.
Louisville is NOT in the South. And don’t forget it.
The crime that should grab our attention is murdering their baby. Oh, and by the way, they murdered the baby. Oh. Well... that passes by almost without comment.
all those muhammeds like the young ones.
must be the religion.
disgusting perv needs to be cremated in my opinion
It figures such a comment would come from a “Hoosier”. No, it is the University of Louisville, not Kentucky. U of L is famous, rather, infamous for taking in the ethically challenged and that includes their coaches.
17 is old enough to do life as he should
I was born and reared in the South by Parents whose ancestors had been in that part of Florida since at least the 1700s. I love the South and it is home to the best people in the world.
I will have to admit there is a little something to the really young age of marriages. Back in the 70s I was working out of Dothan, Alabama. I was searching marriage records as part of my job. I was really surprised how many 14 year olds had gotten married.
Of course that is married not just hooking up.
When statutory rape is involved I guess
What is the legal standard for rape in Florida?
We all see the abortion, but we are trying to discuss the sex story and felony charges before we shut the thread down by all posting over and over, our condemnation of the abortion.
If that were true, some abortuaries would be testing upwards of 75% of their ... jobs. And I can’t believe that’s happening.
Planned Parenthood always IGNORES laws on that stuff. They are above the law, so far.
Ages 17 and 14, not the sex crime of the century.
Not a sex crime at all IMHO
Exactly. That’s why I find it curious that paternity seems to have been so definitively established in this case.
Maybe her parents actually cared enough to pursue this.
OK - I understand that. But on the topic of “Huh-— Is this such a crime? really?” -— I thought it relevant to mention the dead baby.
He’s 17 now. But he wasn’t when it happened.
I mention abortion every post, in my tag line.
It’s still wrong.
He probably mistook her for the 16 year old.
Beat me to it.
Now we wait for the story about the football player sexually assaulting his underage male cousin.
ROFLMAO!! Good one. ;-)
He may have been 16, the sex happened in June of last year and he is 17 now.
None of you had sex in high school????
Because this is what happened here. A couple of high schoolers had sex. The same thing happened in the 60s, 50s, 40s, and earlier. I seriously doubt you all were virgins on your wedding night.
The most disturbing part of this case is that the laws on the books now make young men felons for doing what young men have Always done. The female of course is an innocent victim.
Winner of the Jerry Lee Lewis playa of the year.
That struck me as strange also. It was probably done because of her age. If she weren’t a minor, I doubt it would have been done.
U of L is not in Kentucky? But you are correct of the two U of L is most infamous
At least IU makes sure their athletes are not only capable of but actually do get degrees. Not just in b-ball and ft - ball but in all athletic areas

As a matter of curiosity, what were the divorce rates for the 14-16 year olds?
Muslims have been marrying their first cousins for some 1,400 years.
I have no idea what the divorce rates were or are for those young marrieds.
Oh yes, U of L is in Kentucky, but they think they are out of this world.
As for IU kids getting degrees, why not, they don’t produce on the field or court. :^)
That we can agree on but you’re talking to someone who’s high school only won a few games but 32 out of the 38 graduates got college degrees after four years 3/4 have masters and over a third of the class doctorate
(3 phd in chemistry 2 lawyers 2 drs 3 in other area)
So winning in sports have never been a priority A bunch of Nerds! We were good at chess and debate! Lol
