The Robertson family's sports interests will soon span from NASCAR to college football.

The game, which is played in Shreveport, La., the home state of the A&E reality television Robertson family, was previously sponsored by AdvoCare V100.
According to ESPN, the Duck Commander Independence Bowl will feature SEC and ACC match-ups. If neither league offers a representative, teams representing the Conference USA and the American will also be considered. Duck Commander's current agreement guarantees that the bowl will bear the company's name for a minimum of three years, with a renewal option of three additional years.
In last year's bowl game, the University of Arizona (8-5) defeated Boston College (7-6) 42-6.
Earlier this month, Duck Commander announced that would also be title sponsor for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
"We're excited about the partnership for the Duck Commander 500, being aligned with NASCAR and to have our brand associated with an event of this magnitude," Duck Commander CEO, Willie, said in a statement. "We are all big fans of NASCAR and have been all our lives. It's especially exciting to see our brand join to make it an awesome experience for the fan base and we can't think of a better place than our neighbor at the Texas Motor Speedway."
The inaugural Duck Commander 500 is set for April 6, 2014.
The Duck Commander company was founded by Willie's father, Phil Robertson in West Monroe, La., in 1972.

Imagine what Oregon would do with their uniforms if the “Ducks” made this bowl.
You are correct, they are everywhere. Maybe too much. I know I have grown weary of them. My wife watches their show sometimes, but I can no longer handle their phony sitcom.

I was paying for my gas at the Quick Trip the other day when I glanced down and saw Duck Dynasty lottery tickets. I was at the liquor store and saw a display of Duck Commander wine. You go to Walmart and half of everything is Duck Dynasty. I can understand them wanting to cash in on their 15 minutes of fame but my God! It's way past the point of over-kill.
Willie is a show-boat and that is made clear on the show. No surprises.
