Why would someone prefer this to a Ruger LCP in .380? I love Glocks and have never had any problems with them but what would make me want to replace the Ruger? Just curious.
I like the little sig 380.
A lot
The plastic 380s just dont shoot well for me.
Why would someone prefer this to a Ruger LCP in .380?I opined earlier that modern pistol tech is getting to the point where most any of them will do, just pick a caliber. I think a lot of it comes down to how it feels in your hand and what you can comfortably conceal on your body, presuming someone is shopping for concealment.
Personally, I can carry a G26 in my front jeans pocket in a DeSantis Super-Fly and not print a pistol shape. For IWB, my build would let me carry just about anything short of a big Desert Eagle. With me, an LCP almost looks comical -- like a key-chain adornment.
Serviceable sights?
Ruger LCP is smaller, lacks worthwhile sights, and is harder to disassemble. Glock is larger, has good sights, and is easy to disassemble. I find the Glock much easier to control as I basically have only two fingers on the LCP. Bottom line is personal preference. BTW, the Glock appears to be engineered for 9mm so I’d look for one in the near future.
A little bigger fits the hand a bit better the LCP is small for sure but small guns like the LCP are harder to shoot then just a bit bigger one.
