Even if you are not shopping for a Glock 42, this is still an excellent comparison of many single stack pistols on the market.
There are almost an overwhelming number of options for a .380 or 9mm concealed carry weapon.
Hopefully this video helped you glean some information.
Glock double stacks are nice guns but hard to cc.

All things considered, two magazines included, about $100 + cheaper than 938 basic model, small enough for pocket, enough weight to absorb recoil, it seemed like the best value and performance for what it is. The DAO will take some getting used to. My normal EDC is the Ruger SR9C will an excellent striker fired trigger.

I would say that my hatred for glocks is perfectly rational but if I were being irrational I suppose I might not know it.
We agree...
Ruger LCP is smaller, lacks worthwhile sights, and is harder to disassemble. Glock is larger, has good sights, and is easy to disassemble. I find the Glock much easier to control as I basically have only two fingers on the LCP. Bottom line is personal preference. BTW, the Glock appears to be engineered for 9mm so I’d look for one in the near future.
Doesn’t Glock also make a compact .45 double-stack?
I wonder if this is Glock’s way of doing reverse marketing. By putting out a .380 now, it causes many to yearn for the 9mm they most assuredly have planned in the future. Pent up demand, that sort of thing. I imagine that the g42 is a very pleasant shooting pistol.

A little bigger fits the hand a bit better the LCP is small for sure but small guns like the LCP are harder to shoot then just a bit bigger one.
I can palm a basketball, or could before the arthritis. Glocks fit me fine but the Ruger LCP, while small fits fine as well. I don’t care about the sights since a pocket .380 is only useful at arms length ranges or so, IMHO.
I prefer even my smaller guns to be able make shots a bit farther out then arms length.

Me, I carry my Glock19, and a .38 Airweight for evenings and formal events. The .38 always stays put in my cummerbund. Always looking for something new.
A bit perhaps but relying on a sight radius of 3” or so is hopeful at best. IMHO, practice, practice, practice can result in a more successful natural pointing. Opinions vary.
All depends on the shooter I have a Jennings 22 pistol sight radius of 3.75 and it has decent sights I can hit soft ball size targets at 20 yards with no trouble.
Having shot a couple of LCPs and similar sized pistols I know with decent sights they would be a lot more useful to me.
