British doctors have secretly killed terminally sick children by giving them 'huge' overdoses of painkillers, it was claimed yesterday.
Hours after Belgium became the first country in the world to allow the euthanasia of children, a retired GP suggested it was already happening, informally, in Britain.
Dr Michael Irwin told an LBC Radio debate: 'It has happened in this country, very quietly. I know of one or two children over the last few years.'

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think it’s time we end our special relationship with Britain before this cultural influence starts leaking over into the US, infecting the US mainstream. Britain did after invent the “pregnancy pact” and it leaked over here into Massachusetts and quite a few other places. I think it’s time we set Britain aside as a ‘special’ ally and find better friends.

I would expect that what the Dr is talking about is giving enough medication to keep the child comfortable which is often a small degree of tolerance with the amount that is lethal.
Parents will often want their dying child kept comfortable and pain free, at a risk that the child might die a day or two early.
Personally I do not want my children to suffer from the effects of a terminal dying. I would rather they be kept pain free, even if it compromises their respirations in the long run.

Another nothing news story. This kind of thing has been going on for decades, and everyone in the medical profession knows it.
Last year it was reported that hundreds or maybe more babies were purposely blinded by the US for medical experiments. It was a one day article and got little attention.
