Well, despite seeing some folks with the wrong hand over their hearts when it first showed up during the stupid bowl, it ain't the national anthem so I kinda guess they can do what they want. And consumers can do what they want. But deliberately sticking your thumb in consumers eyes may not help your bottom line. At least in the US.

I hate to say this, but they could take a lesson from GM's marketing department on American pride.

Coke still uses HFCS. I can get Pepsi (and Mountain Dew) made with real sugar in a Wal-Mart that caters to Mexicans and Asians.

I gave up on Coke when they bailed on the organization that wanted to ensure fair elections. I always buy the store brand of soda.

Companies should not mix politics with business.

This is why I don’t buy Starbucks and why I will never own a Crapple computer.

Yeah, I have to agree that one item is WORST downside to the script, by far. They could have found another much better American hero, say, Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger.

LOL! At first I thought you were gonna reference the boob dylan ad but that was for Chrysler. Wonderin’ who did the voice over for bob since you could actually understand what was said.

I recently noticed that Home Depot has a huge stack of Coca-Cola in glass bottles “Bottled in Mexico.”

“Thanks to Coke, I no longer drink Coke.”

I used to drink a couple a day. The doctor said they were giving me kidney stones. (He worked out the chemical formulae and, yep, it resulted in the stones I had.) Gave it up, dropped 10 pounds in a short time. Felt healthier and better. My constant upset stomach and ulcers disappeared. When I had a sip several years later, I thought somebody had slipped me battery acid. Foul. Just say no to coke. You’ll be glad you did.

Taking the old “J.C. Penney” tactic, eh, Coke? How well did that work out for J.C. Penney, fellas?

Okay. I can stay away from Coca Cola products. No biggie.

You can get Throwback Pepsi made of real sugar, in CA.

As far as I can tell, it’s made in the USA.

Yes, but the Mexican Cokes cost $1 to $1.25 at the local grocery stores. The Pepsis in cans (12 pack) cost the same as the other Pepsico products.
