Thats the message from the Food and Drug Administrations new anti-smoking campaign, The Real Cost, which is aimed at teens and pre-teens.
The FDA says its goal is to reduce the number of the number of future smokers, thereby reducing the harmful effects that tobacco use has on the health of our country.

Yep. I remember at my dad’s funeral (cancer from a life long smoking habit) after I had introduce my wife and kids to my cousins (all of them smokers) and we were out of ear shot, I told my family how old each of them were. They were shocked thinking they were at least 10-20 years older than they really were.
And it was easy to tell the ones that didn’t smoke from the ones that did. A remarkable difference.
