One of the worst things you can allow to happen for your children is to start them on a career of fame and adulation.
Sports
Entertaining
Acting
etc.
If they excel in these areas, ensure that they are grounded in LIFE and understand that fame & adulation and the crowds that are attracted by them are very, very dangerous.
Be excellent in all that you do, but in the end, it is just games, singing & dancing & play acting.

God, in His love & mercy for Ms. Perry, may allow her to make a big crash in order that she may come to her senses.

Thanks you for the thoughtful comments. I read this article with the same feeling. I hope she makes her way back. I also appreciate that she was into Keith Green. She should listen to him again, many of his songs would be good for her to hear.

I ask my pseudo-atheist God-hating friends the same question. One day when they find themselves standing in the BURNING LAKE OF FIRE, they'll be crying out "But . . . but I really didn't know!" I bet satan gets a really big laugh out of that one.
