ESPN's SportsCenter goes wall to wall with Mandela coverage...Huh?!
ESPN

Posted on 12/05/2013 6:15:43 PM PST by SoFloFreeper

So I am sitting a local sports pub/bar, you know the ones with all sorts of games and sports shows on big screens everywhere....

all of a sudden, I look up and see Barack Hussein Obama speaking LIVE from D.C.

"What is going on?!" I asked my companion....

Sure enough, it is an extended statement from the worst occupant of the Oval Office in 100+ years, and it goes on and on and on....then the Sports Center talking heads continue to ramble about the death of Nelson Mandela.

On a sports network. About sports news.

Sorry FRiends, but I just don't get it. The man was 95 years old. He was sick. He was African. And he wasn't a sports figure.

Why the cult of personality worship?

I don't get it.

Cruz needs to be deluged with the truth about Mandela, then. So much similar stuff happened in Cuba that he ought to know better.

Wasn’t Rush kicked off of ESPN for getting political? “unlike” Hunter S. Thompson and others at ESPN?

They are committing genocide against white people in south Africa.

this socialist cretin Mandela was part of the racist anti-white government that has led to this genocide of whites

the media hides this

the news media worship Mandela, Obama, Kennedy, any marxist/democrat monster

the stupid sports media exose themselves for what they are.

what is sports but circuses to keep us distracted. why are sports part of every news cast as if important as the weather cast. why does every government school have sports and football programs, ditto for cities and their sports stadiums and gov funded colleges. wake up people

Propaganda is like a toxin that spreads underground and then up into the roots of anything that it touches.

It was only a matter of time before sports became tainted with politics.

That ugly ahole Bob whatever his big-nosed last name is the current cheerleader to propagandize sports.

This is written by someone who does not follow any sports whatsoever. If I’m familiar with his political BS, you know it’s out of the sports arena and into the public, where they want it.

I would have rather Cruz offered up nothing.

Silence would have been played as racism. Althought the media will still hear some dog-whistle code in there if they read his statement backwards and just use every 6th letter

There’s another thread here on FR that has a link to pictures of Mandela.

Many of them are with him arm-and-arm with Castro.

Cruz should need no more evidence.

That phrase about, “If you can’t say something good about someone...” goes both ways.

If you can’t say something bad about someone who desperately deserves it, then don’t say anything at all.

Levin has disgusted me by saying that Mandela was a great man.

Dear Lord, he wasn't worthy to be the man who shined the shoes of the man who shine Maggie Thatcher's shoes. Apartheid, for all its evil, was nothing compared to how Muslims treat outsiders. God speed Nelson Mandela, but I personally am not up for your deification. Sorry.

the sports media expose themselves for what they are. of course the news media are worse, not reporting news but just propaganda that advances socialism

sports is just to distract us from what they the government are doing to us. why does every gov school have sports , why does every news cast have a sports section?

I'm glad I don't watch TV or then I have to see this stupid Mandela 24/7 coverage coming. mandela was a racist, genocidal communist. I'm glad i missed the JFK bs.
