Thousands of "minions" all around the world are sending prayers and healing thoughts to super cat Colonel Meow, who is critically ill.
Colonel's "mom," Anne Marie, posted on Facebook Monday that Colonel was in the hospital and doctors could not figure out what is wrong with him.
She said he had survived a 50/50 chance surgery and a blood transfusion.
"Now we need YOU to get him out of the woods," she said on Facebook. "He needs YOU to send your amazingly good energy, vibes and prayers."
"He's a Colonel. And right now he needs his soldiers. Spread that frown and send your recovery and healing vibes ASAP. He told me it was an order.
Thousands of people have sent well-wishes to the Colonel. Anne Marie wrote on Tuesday afternoon that she has been holding her "Miracle Meow" all day and reading every comment.
"If you wrote it, he's heard it," she said.
Colonel, a Himalayan/Persian mix, is featured in the newly-released Guinness World Records 2014 book.
Colonel Meow was adopted by owners Anne Marie Avey and Eric Rosario after he was was found abandoned by the side of the road and taken in by Seattle Persian and Himalayan Society. They lived in Seattle but later moved to Los Angeles.
In September, the Himalayan/Persian mix set a Guinness World Record for the longest fur. He is featured in the Guinness World Records 2014 book.
He has more than 200,000 faithful fans - "minions" - on his Facebook page and that number continues to grow.
Sick pussy-cat ping.

“He needs YOU to send your amazingly good energy, vibes and prayers.”
That statement is enough for me not to buy THAT cat food. However, I hope the cat makes it.
It would be good to read the article first. s/
It’s like God actually let Louis Wain design a cat.
Hey, you hang on in there Colonel!
Amen!
CeilingCat, and Bast,
Please watch over your kitties who are ill and in need of love
Help all kitties who are in need of homes find them.
May all cats be cherished and loved, healed, and have tummies full of noms. Just as G-d intended them to be when he first created them. Then domesticated them so humans could love them.
A meow.
A meow
:)
( from my kitty)
And from me- your Squeek is a beautiful kitty. I’m glad she’s recovered from her surgery. And as liberals go, Larry is one i would totally like. He’s the exception, but only becsuse he’s covered in fur and about six ounces and adorable.
