on CBS correspondent apologizes for report on Benghazi attack

The correspondent for the disputed “60 Minutes'’ segment about the attack on the United States Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya, last year apologized on the air Friday morning, saying it was a “mistake'’ to put on a security officer whose credibility has since been undermined by his diverging accounts of his actions that night.

The correspondent, Lara Logan, said on “CBS This Morning'’ that the news division was misled by the officer, adding, “We will apologize to our viewers, and we will correct the record on our broadcast on Sunday night.”

The apology followed disclosure by The New York Times on Thursday evening that the security contractor, Dylan Davies, had provided the F.B.I. an account that contradicted a version of events he provided in a recently published book and in the interview with “60 Minutes,” which was broadcast on Oct. 27.

Notice how our government can "leak" enough information to protect the pretender at the top, but still will not give up the goods on this POS.

From the beginning, was this a set up to discredit the President's critics?

How much of the FBI report did the NYT actually see? Were they satisfied with being told that the report undermined the whistleblower's credibility?

They could have interviewed a dozen other people with no credibility problems. Where were they?

What did they have on Lara Logan or other big-wigs at CBS? This whole retraction smells big time.

There are 30 other potential leakers out there and this was an orchestration to deter the others. Why would they not also do this, after going so far as legally changing all their names, threatening their families and also shuttling them all over the globe...?

If he did lie to the FBI, what reasonable person would blame him? If he was at the compound then what was inside his head was a THREAT to the administration.

Just LOOK at what the FBI did with the Tsarnaef investigation —they interrogated and EXECUTED in the field a person of interest and 2 agents involved in some of the arrests perished in an oh-so-unfortunate fas-roping incident.

Would YOU tell the FBI murderers the truth now? If so you’d havea death wish.

This retraction is the MSM acting as Cheerleader for the Establishment
