Al Gore’s position that man is the primary cause of global warming caused Gore to justify lying to the people because of the importance of his opinion.
As I listened to Obama lie about his lies, I wondered if Obama applied Al Gore’s rationale to allow Obama’s mind to excuse his lie.
Al Gore used the words “over-representation” when he lied. However, Al Gore never emphasized his lies by adding the word “period” to assure the people of the correctness of his lie.
Al Gore said, in an interview, that it was okay to lie. Al Gore did not use the word “lie”; his exact words were “it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations”
Al Gore’s quote: "In the United States of America, unfortunately we still live in a bubble of unreality. And the Category 5 denial is an enormous obstacle to any discussion of solutions. Nobody is interested in solutions if they don't think there's a problem. Given that starting point, I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous (global warming) is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are, and how hopeful it is that we are going to solve this crisis."
Yes.
They lied because they are liars. It’s what liars do.
Gore was in it for the money.

Obama lied to pass Obamcare and get re-elected.
That allows him to get on TV now and state :” I got re-elected. Obamacare is the settled law of the land. Learn to live with it”
If he told the truth that would not be possible.
Every liar lies for the same reason: because reality is inconvenient or unpleasant.
Only weak people need to lie.

What ever their twisted minds see that comes between them and their ideological wet dream is their next sacrifice to their god of Marxism.
When the end is “COMMUNISM”, the means is never justified. Al Gore and Obama tell lies in order to enslave us. That is quite different than telling your wife that your mother loved her cheesecake.
I think Gore lied/lies because it’s his part of his genetic makeup. He can’t help himself. Remember... he lied when he had no reason to lie?

They lie because they do not know God.

Soetoro and his fellow travelers are lawyers, not statesmen. Lawyers are trained to lie to high heaven in order to create doubt and confusion.

I partially agree. They lie because it is politically expedient and the mediacrats have their back. If the media did their job, then we wouldn’t have this.
That is an interesting observation.
It is in concert with another observation; If you want to annoy a conservative tell him a lie; if you want to annoy a liberal tell him a truth.
This observation is also valid; if you want to please a conservative tell him a truth; if you want to please a liberal tell him a lie.
Liberals see lying as a means to an end and they celebrate those who are willing to achieve the end regardless of the means.
