That’s not Jim Kirk.
Carrier Captains are aviators. So unless James Kirk has cats and traps under his belt, he won’t be the master of a carrier.
CVN-80 (Enterprise) isn’t due to commission until 2025. Given a variety of factors the more likely date is going to be 2030 or so.
