You raise some very good points. I hadn’t thought about the telecom laws. You’re quite right.

But it looks as though at least one of these little sociopaths was being raised in hideous conditions by a lunatic. Such people are not going to supervise or care about their children’s online activities—they have spent 15 years creating that wicked little creature by some combination of neglect, abuse, and horrendous modeling.

Child neglect & abuse are crimes, too. These crimes need to be prosecuted.

Somehow, we must return to the idea the parents have a moral & legal responsibility to raise their kids right & supervise their activities.

I am afraid the country is already so morally bankrupt as to require draconian measures to restore society to a much higher level of civility. I doubt our present society can ever accomplish this, nor is it even inclined to do so.

I’d like to add that may parents need some incentive to monitor their kids activities.

Beyond jail sentences, which I think are warranted for neglectful parents, how about we cut off their phones when their kids abuse them. Cut off the whole family. THAT will surely get their attention.

We have a stark choice: Either the parents raise & monitor their children or the prison system will! Parents should pay a stiff price for lazily accepting the latter.

As a side benefit, perhaps welfare queens will have some reason NOT to have more babies, if it means being criminally responsible for the actions of their little darlings.
