Question: How many of the Uninsured have computers?

I mean, it's sort of a big oversight, isn't it? All these poor uninsured people out there who are supposed to log on to a website and sign up. How many don't even have a computer? How many don't know how to use one? I mean, like duh! What am I missing?

I think that’s the job of the “navigators.” Aren’t people supposed to go to some center, or whatever, to sign up for this crap? I’d go look, but I don’t want to be followed.

Funny they all have phones, don’t they? They can go to the library? Or a social worker? A neighbor or relative?

In at least one state, navigators were going door to door, which is very creepy.

Someone will find a way to make endruns around the *system*.

Meet Brendan Mahoney, the young man who is saving ObamaCare. He’s 30 years old, a third-year law student at the University of Connecticut. He’s actually been insured for the past three years—in 2011 and 2012 through a $2,400-a-year school-sponsored health plan, and this year through “a high-deductible, low-premium plan that cost about $39 a month through a UnitedHealthcare subsidiary.” But he wanted to see what ObamaCare had to offer.

He tried logging in to the exchange’s website at 8:45 a.m. yesterday, which is impressive in itself. Most young people don’t get up that early. “He said the system could not verify his identity.” So he called the toll-free help line, whose operator also encountered computer trouble. “But then he logged on a second time, he said, and the system worked.”

“Once it got running, it was fast,” Mahoney tells the Courant. “It really made my day. It’s a lot like TurboTax.” He obtained insurance through ObamaCare. Now, he says, “if I get sick, I’ll definitely go to the doctor.” Even better, if he stays healthy, he won’t need to go to a doctor, and his premiums will support chronically ill policyholders on the wrong side of 40.

So, how much of a premium is strapping young Brendan Mahoney paying to help make ObamaCare work? Oops. The Courant reports that Mahoney “said that by filling out the application online, he discovered he was eligible for Medicaid. So, beginning next year, he won’t pay any premium at all.”

What you're missing is that 0bama gave millions of dollars to 'non-profit' organizations such as Planned Parenthood to act as 'navigators' to sign up the very people you're worried about.

You are not suppose to ask this question. You cannot make sense to a nonsensical government. Shame on you.

It sounds worse than needing a computer. It appears that you made need a life-lock subscription to go with that.

Probably a little experience with coding too. You never know, you might have to counter-hack...

I have Lifelock. It didn’t stop the IRS from stealing my Soc. Sec. number and giving it to someone else. Identity Theft is alive and well.

There is a program to give high speed internet to the “poor*” for $10 a month, guaranteed for up to 2 years. YOU pay for this with a tax on your internet service.

*Poor defined as having a school kid on the free lunch program (in some cities they are putting all kids on free lunch)

This thing is supposed to fail. They figured out a short time back that it wasn’t even going to get started so they rigged the computers so they won’t handle the traffic. They keep saying people are signing up but can’t show one person who has done it. Beckel, on Hannity, said Millions are signing up. When he was asked to name one he switched to “You guys are slamming this so people won’t go on and sign up.” obamacare is as good as dead in the water.

The democrat disappointment is it wasn’t supposed to fail until millions actually got signed up. Then they could switch to single payer. Now they’re in a panic and don’t know what to do.
