Someone needs to do an MRI and concentrate on L3, L4 and L5 as these are the 3 that would most likely be involved with no feeling in your legs. I didn’t fall but was having numbness on the left side with hip and knee pain. The MRI showed that I had serious compression on T10, T11 and L1 all the way down to S1. Foot long scar down my back and it was a lamenectomy (SP) that they performed to relieve the compression. A week in the hospital and a couple months rehab. But, it beat the alternative which would have been a hoverround. You need to find a neurosurgeon that will maybe help you. My prayers go out to you.

every dr for the most part does the best he can...he offers what he can....
I'm a big believer in the fact that MOST patients know their own bodies the best...families know their family members the best.....as a long time nurse, you LISTEN to what the pt says.....so your family did absolutely the right thing...you knew something wasn't right and you acted...
Your dealings with the ER sound EXACTLY what my mom had to deal with a couple of months ago. Same EXACT thing.
Taken by ambulance to hospital....put on a gurney to wait for HOURS with NO pain meds. People lined up on gurneys in the hallway. CT scan. Doc says nothing wrong. “Goodbye”.
It was disgusting.
Had to get her ice chips MYSELF. She had to go to the bathroom and I went to the nurse’s station THREE times to get her a potty.
It reminded me so much of what I had to deal with in the UK when I lived there.

“Father, I pray now for our sister trussell. Lord, we ask that her legs would be healed and restored to her. We ask You to put Your hand on her back and heal whatever injury happened when she hit the floor.
“Lord, you know the great struggles our sister has had recently, posted to the prayer list. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the life of our sister who loves You and serves You. This family needs Your help and Your healing. We ask for You to come into this situation and heal her, heal her pain, and heal her stress. Show Yourself strong in her life.
“Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in trussell’s life. I have read her prayers on other’s behalf. Now, Lord, she needs a miracle herself. We ask for one. Oh, Lord Jesus, show Yourself very strong in her!

They hurt, I can feel touching, more on the right than the left, I can wiggle the toe on the right, but not the left. I can’t move, turn, shuffle either one of them
My insurance doesn’t cover chiro and my doc said “NO...and I mean NOOOOO”
Lumbar strains, even temporary, would not explain continued lack of mobility in your legs. Please seek another opinion, you might have a problem that could be permanent. Go to another hospital or seek an opinion from another physician.

I am sure you are a fantastic nurse...the biggest complaint I ever have with medical people is many will not listen...I find the ones that do are great at what they do.
