My GD, in 5th grade, was the *only* kid in her class who knew the answer, when her teacher asked the class what was the significance of 9-11 in American history.
She told me she said, *that was when some Muslims stole airplanes and flew them in the tall buildings in New York, to kill as many Americans as possible.* She said she added: *Muslims flew another plane into the Pentagon in Washington DC to kill more American soldiers.
She reported that the teacher said: *Well, that about covers it.*
