No. I’m the one claiming one person ISN’T important “Giving him the win stats ignores the other 52 on the field.” Teams win or lose, declaring all the victories the result of the QB no matter how he performs is stupid. But of course exactly the kind of stupid the Tebow worshipers insist on when they declare he’s a “proven winner” for getting Ws with less than 10 complete passes. Individual plays, often times lacking the player in question, make or break games. We can declare Manning “lost” the game last year, but he wasn’t on the field when a make or break play happened, so maybe the team lost it. We could declare Tebow won a bunch of games, but a good chunk of them he’s only completing 6, 7, 8 passes, not really game winning QB type stuff, so maybe the team won those.
I'm no Tebow worshiper, he clearly has not been able to make it as an NFL QB, but your inability to stop beating the dead horse shows more about your state of mind than Tebow's shortcomings.
Ball control means not turning over the ball and QB’s are team leaders. That’s why the QB is the highest paid player on most teams and the OT that protects him is usually the second highest paid. While QB’s may change plays, the plays are called from the sidelines.
Look this has gotten moronic. You’re now saying the same completely horribly wrong thing for the third time on this thread. It’s over. Tebow stinks. Just like the analysts said he would when he was in college. Sorry you and he can’t accept it, but the facts are the facts and he sucks and you’re both self deluded. Good bye, good luck.
I gave you the quote. I wasn’t trying to make it one person. My “state of mind” on Tebow is that he’s nice guy and a crappy QB. It’s really the sad pathetic worshipers that bug me, the guys that think his failure in the NFL must be anti-Christian bigotry and couldn’t possibly be because he’s a crappy QB. If they’d just rent a freaking clue these threads wouldn’t happen. The saddest part is they’re part of the problem for him. If these folks hadn’t been blowing smoke up his butt all through college he might have actually taken the critics seriously and taken the necessary steps to fix his game so it could work in the NFL. But he believed, and apparently still believes, the wrong set of people and still thinks he has a shot at being an NFL QB.
Don't be so hard on yourself.
