Tim Tebow News: Quarterback Receives Million Dollar Offer from KISS LA
Christian Post ^ | 09/10/2013 | BRITTNEY R. VILLALVA

Tim Tebow has had a rocky NFL career starting with a first round draft pick in 2010 and potentially ending with a dismissal from the New England Patriots about ten days ago. But not all hope is lost as Tebow has been offered a potential "million dollar" contract with Arena League franchise LA KISS.

Operating out of Anaheim, California the LA KISS team, owned by the infamous KISS rockers, has extended an official offer to Tim Tebow. Known for his strong Christian beliefs and positive outlook, a partnership with the rowdy rockers may not seem like the most conventional choice, but the band member believe that Tebow can bring a lot to their team.

"Acquiring Tebow would not only be a great investment for the team, but his exciting style of play would definitely send shockwaves through the League," said KISS bassist Gene Simmons, a.k.a. The Demon, in a press release.

"We're excited for the opportunity to see him with an LA KISS uniform on, and for the LA KISS fans to be rockin' their Tebow shirts and jerseys."

The release stated that Tebow would have the opportunity to "earn millions" if he chooses to sign the three-year contract that has officially been extended. The league owner also expressed faith that if Tebow chose to take the offer, he may find one of the best places to improve his skills.

"Similar to how Kurt Warner blossomed in the NFL after becoming one of the greatest quarterbacks in AFL history, we feel our league is the best place for Tim to refine his skills and gain valuable repetitions. We have tremendous faith in Tim's ability to succeed in the AFL," KISS co-owner Brett Bouchy said.

This is not the first offer that has been extended to Tebow by indoor football. The Omaha Beef offered Tebow a contract in April, that same month, Tebow also got an offer from the Lingerie Football League to be the LFL's "National Quarterback Coach." Other offers have also come out of Canada, but Tebow's management team has shown little interest in any of them

Tebow has been offered these kind of opportunities before and he doesn’t want them. He wants to be in the NFL. He ought to be in the NFL.

I’d been wondering what unnamed NFL team offered Tim Tebow a backup QB position that he ended up declining, then I saw the first half of Monday Night Football last night and said to myself “Ah, so it was the Redskins.”

It would be like an experienced corporate exec taking a mail room position.

heck, steve young came up thru the leagues, if you will.. shame to see all that ‘talent’ go to waste. I guess 2 national titles and a heisman aren’t worth much these days..

...”... we feel our league is the best place for Tim to refine his skills and gain valuable repetitions. We have tremendous faith in Tim’s ability to succeed in the AFL,” KISS co-owner Brett Bouchy said.

Tim Tebow has to refine his skills? This KISS Bouchy must be nuts.~
Tim already SUCCEEDED in the NFL!

Tim Tebow, Broncos Beat Steelers In Overtime:
Denver Wins On TD Pass To Demaryius Thomas (VIDEO)

Tebow went one better – he pulled off an upset.

A rejuvenated Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on an electrifying 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime and the Broncos defeated the stunned Pittsburgh Steelers 29-23 in the AFC wild-card game on Sunday.

Wild doesn’t begin to describe it. The play took 11 seconds and was the quickest ending to an overtime in NFL history.”

If he could perform at the level expected of an NFL quarterback he would have a job.

A mail room position paying millions of dollars? I’ll take it.

It would be like an experienced corporate exec taking a position at a startup.

Tim Tebow and Rush Limbaugh are not welcome in the NFL.

If Tebow was offered a backup slot with an NFL team and he declined it then he's given up on football. Nobody is going to sign him for a starter. He's a stretch as second string. He's a real project as a third string. Canada is not going to sign him as a QB since he's totally unsuited for the pass dependent game they play up there. I can't blame him for not wanting the Arena League. But his NFL options are remote at best, and he is in no position to be picky if a team actually came calling.

As for the Deadskins, they already have 4 quarterbacks on their roster; RG3, Cousins, Grossman, and White. I don't think they'd want a fifth QB and a second Flordia product.

This is a stupid story. So they made him an offer, anyone can make Tebow an offer. This has a smear flavor to it, sully him by associating him with Kiss. He has NO association with Kiss at this point.

Save your bandwidth my friend. Folks won’t acknowledge what they don’t want to acknowledge. They only display their ignorance of how the NFL works.....not that there is anything wrong with that.

Kurt Warner got his start in arena football, long with a lot of prayer, and look where it got him...

IIRC, Warner cut his teeth in the now defunct Europeon NFL, where the talent pool was lower than arena football.

Warner did use the Arena league as a stepping stone to a chance in the NFL, and he made the most of it. What is Tebow supposed to use the Arena league as a stepping stone to? The NFL? He's already had his chance and shown he's deficient in the talent necessary to be a pro-level QB. The Canadian League? With their three downs and the wider and longer field it's more pass dependent than the NFL is and Tebow is not a passing QB. Any Canadian team that picked him up would have to totally rebuild their offense around him, and having done that there is no real evidence that Tebow would be able to deliver.

The Arena league for Tebow would be a last chance to be in football at some level. There is no 'up' from there, only down to the Lingerie league or semi-pro.
