In the meantime, this awkward photo of Secretary of State John Kerry and his wife dining with the Assads in 2009 has gone viral amidst Kerry's harshest criticism of the Syrian government to date. Describing the government's use of chemical weapons against civilians as a "cowardly crime" and a "moral obscenity," Kerry said, "There must be accountability for those who would use the world's most heinous weapons against the world's most vulnerable people."

He further clarified that it would be an “unbelievably small, limited kind of effort.” Now there’s a threat that should really leave Assad quaking in his boots!
So then now they’re delaying the attack by at least another week?

Assad should call their bluff and invite the UN in to take his chemical stockpile.
Whoa, people. This is a MAJOR change in the Syria situation!
Until now, the whole basis for an attack was to punish Assad for his alleged use of gas back in August.
Now Kerry has added a new condition - give up all the chemical stockpiles too.
Kerry knows this condition will never, cannot, be met - it’s like the Obama Admin is rigging everything so there HAS to be a war.

Which begs the question — Why? Speculative theories I’ve seen and/or thought of thus far:
1. Because they are stupid or incompetent, or both.
2. Because they are so vested in the whole “black President” thing that they’ll do anything to save him. (Requires #1 to be True).
3. Because Syria is just a continuation of The Kenyan’s life mission to bring the USA to its knees by handing over the entire Arab and Middle East area to his fellow Muslim Brotherhood brethren, who are already “within the gates” of our government. (This theory flows nicely with the circumstantial evidence that The Kenyan’s college years were financed by the Saudis.)
(Side note: Bill Ayers and his fellow Marxist/Leninist/Commie cohorts may have lost their influence over their Kenyan Prodigy, as evidenced by Ayres’ recent statements against obama attacking Syria. If true, how ironic is that? Ayres et al are the ones who schooled him in the Cloward-Pivens strategy of overwhelming the system to rebuild it. Instead of rebuilding the USA into Ayres’ Communist Utopia, his protege Barack Hussein Obama may be planning on handing over a collapsed USA to Shari’a Law worshippers.)
