That’s not a comparison to the many losers who are still worthy to carry a clipboard. Tebow isn’t going to thrive in an offense that isn’t going to play to his strengths. Same goes for several others. He seems really well-suited to the read option, but will never get the chance to run it.

Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell, Tavaris Jackson, Seneca Wallace, and several others get multiple chances, despite being awful, but Tebow is “finished”. “I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well.” Yes, I’m saying if Tebow were black, he would be getting yet another chance. How many others had Saturday Night Live skits about them? He did. That’s a fact. How many others had leaders from other religious groups penning op-ed pieces worrying about how they are going to lead some sort of scary Christian upheaval? He did. That’s a fact. Nobody on the Daily Show ever said “I dislike Robert Mugabe, but I hate (any other QB)”. They did say that about Tebow. That’s a fact. I think he’s the first QB to have an “I Hate” Facebook page, though he is not the first QB to struggle on the field in the social media age. That’s a fact, until you show me there was one before him.
