A non-profit Islamic group in Florida is requesting that Muslim students be released early from public schools “every Friday” so children can attend mandatory prayer services, for under Islamic law, it is “sin” to miss the obligatory prayer sermon.

Unlike what senator Juan McCain thinks , a mooselimb shouting "Allah Akbar" is not the same as a Christian saying, "Thank God", it's closer to a Japanese Kamikaze pilot shouting "Banszi". The difference being that the Japanese pilot would consider it a disgrace to target school kids. That being said, having spent 12 years in Catholic school, I found that those schools usually were a positive thing for the neighborhood. I'm not so sure a madras would have the same positive effect.

Muslims have been trying to have their children in Baltimore County, Md. given off on Ramadan for the past 20 years. Didn’t work then, isn’t working now.
