Or that too. I remember training hard to unharness because there was a pond
just 100 yards away from the jump zone. One wrong gust and 100 yards is just a
few seconds away. Those were good times.

I did four static line jumps 27 years ago. Your experience was similar to mine. I have pictures. :^)

As a fellow pilot once asked me...Why would anyone want to jump out of a perfectly good airplane?I have a t-shirt that says "There are no perfectly good airplanes."
I still wear it, although I haven't jumped with regularity in five or six years.
