After yesterday's server constipation, we now see THIS:
Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post_article?forum=chat. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

I just get a blank white page...sometimes. Very annoying.

I get white-screened as well as the HTTP 500 error.
Is a white page racist?

Having the same issue here. It takes me about three tries to access posts or Freepmail. Posts don’t go through on the first try, so I have to back out and start again.

I’d been getting “500” errors all weekend (Firefox on my Win7 machine). This morning I’m having to hit refresh frequently to get pages to load.

Donating is a good thing but on the other hand throwing money at a propblem never seems to work very well.

I have to refresh the page to go from one action to the next, get error messages, etc
Since yesterday
I haven’t seen any posts from site managers acknowledging aproblem or that a fix is underway
