Letters from Hannah Anderson were among items seized by authorities in a search of kidnap and murder suspect James DiMaggio's San Diego County property, warrants revealed, along with duct tape, handcuff boxes and other materials.

Hannah was picked up at cheerleading practice at 4:00 Sunday and the fire department was putting out the fire at 8:00.
The Andersons had apparently been at DiMaggio's place all day Saturday and stayed overnight. So then why all the phone calls on Sunday if Hanna was right there.
And somebody had to have dropped Hannah off at cheerleading practice on Sunday and then picked her up at 4:00 when both phones were then turned off.
Looming large in the investigation now are those 13 phone calls -- when and where and what and whether mom, brother, and dog were killed before Hannah's cheerleading practice, during, or after.
Let's hope that the SD police are not buying the Lakeside Lolita's narrative.

The girl doesn't seem to be terribly bright, and if she was involved it will no doubt come out.
I too find the circumstance suspicious, but let's not assume her guilt without real evidence.

The after-the-fact behavior of both the father and daughter seems strange, especially in light of the murders of the son/brother and wife/mother. They almost act like nothing happened. Dr. Keith Ablow gave a very insightful description of this yesterday.

Not necessarily. The police can declare her "a victim in every sense of the word", put out an incomplete report based on what she claims, and close the case.

Could mean nothing, could mean a lot.
I’m not convinced either way that’s she’s innocent or had a part in all of this. Things are not adding up yet on either side. I do know something with this whole case never sat right with me.
I agree. Add to that the girl’s (to me) suspicious behavior when she was seen by the people on horseback. Apparently she tried to keep her face turned away from them. Doesn’t seem to me like someone taken against their will. My bet is that she and DiMaggio had formed a sexual relationship and the mom found out about it. I have experience with teenage girls, and it was terrifying. In some cases they have no thought for anyone but themselves, and what it is they want at the moment, with no insight into the consequences for themselves or others. We had a young girl here who stabbed to death her grandparents because they objected to her romantic liaison. Kind of made me understand why the Taliban married their girls off at 14. Flame away if you will, but unless you’ve been in the middle of it you have no clue.

True. There can of course be a coverup, as with any other crime.

never heard of it before and google turns up nothing on it except from this story... i think they are talking about nichrome wire used to ignite model rocket motors as it turns white hot in seconds
