“...because he believes that his spirit is neither male nor female.”
This is a core, and often unmentioned, tenet of a some of the gay rights crowd. You don’t see it presented by politicians or the media much, but I’ve run across some of the hardcore activists views on this stuff. Essentially, the concept of male and female are “outdated gender definitions” and that orientation is some fluid thing that transcends straight or gay. Something like that, anyway. The bottom line being, it’s basically arguing that not only has the straight world has been discriminating against them, but it embraces a view of man and woman that has somehow been wrong for thousands of years.
Crazy stuff, meng. Crazy stuff.
exactly. Now who will start suing MSNBC?
Indeed!
MS-13 would likely do well securing our southern boundary.
Heck, they’d probably do it free of charge.
“Essentially, the concept of male and female are outdated gender definitions”
Well put. A friend showed me a Twitter feed on the announcement of the birth of Prince George. The lead was “It’s a boy” 99% of the comments were about it being too early to assign a gender role to the young Prince. Seriously sick world. The kid has a penis - it’s a freeking boy!!
Mel
Why shouldn’t a queer make a queer lawsuit.?
You know to a queer network..
How many white people have been denied employment on air at BET because of their skin color?
The company ain’t begun to write the settlement checks on that bit of discrimination.
*snicker*
Nothing like one “minority” suing another for discrimination.
I was a wierd looking SOB in the 60s and 70s but conservative and strait. It confused the ladies but they liked it. It really pissed off the lefties.
As I told my son years later, "party with liberals but vote conservative."
Schadenfreude all the way around....
Sessions should start his/her own network: LGBT
Perhaps you missed it in human biology, but some humans are born inter-sexed with a penis and a vagina. Some Christian religious leaders will remind you what the moral consequences are for speaking ill of a person who has not committed a moral wrong.
This guy is fully male and is clearly sick in the head.
ou are confusing genitalia with gender, which is understandable while being not wholly correct in fact. If you should doubt this, try looking at what happens to people who have dramatic hormonal imbalances. An argument may be made about dramtaic hormonal differences resulting in people “being sick in the head” or not, but that is a controversy rather than a given fact of biology. None of this is to say this individual being discussed is or is not “sick” as you may define it, but does notee the need to learn how such assumptions can and often are in error in whole or part. As you may recall, there is an admonition about not bearing false witness which may apply in such controversies.
Seriously? - re read my post and see if I did anything of the sort to any individual.
Is it not true that the far majority of people who are born with a penis are male and that anything else is an extreme exception to the rule?
What is a general statement about the general nature of things does not mean antithesis to the exception.
How is pointing out what is spurious and perverted thinking somehow speaking ill of a person?
The person who showed me the tweets has the same concerns as I i.e. that this sort of thinking leads to confusion and perversion rather than self assurance and strength and that somehow this nonsensical thinking has been slipped into the cultural consciousness and is now seen as wisdom.
How can standing up for assignation of maleness to a male put me under some sort of moral consequence?
Spoken like a true Liberal.
How am I ‘bearing false witness’? He is fully male and is clearly suffering from a mental illness. Anyone who wishes to mutilate their body to become a member of the opposite sex has serious mental health issues.
If Obama had a son he would look like.....
BTW on a second read of the whole thread I think you may have not realized I actually was not referring to the article but three words on another persons post and then to my own story. To not feel sorry or concerned for someone afflicted by birth with an actual identity crises would be cruel and outrageous!
I love it when the balkanized liberal factions attack each other.
