While I normally detest graffiti, this was quite clever and worthy of a chuckle. The artist is talented.

btw--the site is London.

They should paint the mugshot of the artist/vandal when he’s arrested for defacing private property. That would be a real hoot.

The photograph of the man overlays perfectly with the supposed graffiti work. I think this might be a hoax.

Yep, even the lines on the shirt and shadows on the dude match.

Even if the artist was good enough to capture all that, there's no way to re-pose perfectly for this article.

You’re right. It’s a hoax.

The graffiti artist took photos of the worker then used one of them to create the art. Why would that be an indication that it’s a hoax?

How did the newspaper manage to get the very same photo the vandal apparently used?

The grafitti artist is world famous and likes attention. He probably sent it himself. Read the original article and google his name: grafitti artist DS....

I followed your suggestion, and found the guy's website where he refers to himself as a "stencil artist" - which would explain the overlay of the photo with the image. And, yeah, I guess he very well could have forwarded the image to whomever first wrote the story; so I'll just shut up now.

I came across this 2 years ago in Monahans, TX. Car was loaded with fracking sand.

I understand why you might thing so, but it appears that is not the case.

You made a good point, so don’t sweat it. I hate grafitti, but I did get a laugh out of this.
