When you realize how much blood has been shed over this issue you can understand where this lady is coming from. However, it might have been more informative for some LIVs out there if she’d managed to work in the SCIENTIFIC FACT that the father is solely responsible for the sex of the child.

Well, I first intended to give her the benefit of that doubt, as it occurred to me that perhaps there could be a Brit meaning for the word “brilliant” that I am not familiar with, but then this airhead says in the next sentence:
