The Left, and specifically the Obama administration, needed a straw man upon which to hang every last blame and derision in order to bring about racial upheaval. While blacks in America still account for less than 15% of the total population of this country, they are the predominant racial group in the southeast US. Florida, while still a majority white of Germanic origin (Census 2000 Ancestry Data), doesn't generally self-identify as a "southern" state nor do we associate our cultural leanings toward blacks. As such, we're seeing anger across the nation at the Zimmerman verdict, but Florida's remained relatively calm. Hell, even our governor, who's not perfect by any stretch, stood up to a group of "protestors" yesterday and explained that he had no intention of calling for a special session of the legislature to change or repeal Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law.

This whole event was the tinder box. Obama inserted himself and his administration as the flint to spark animus against Florida and more generally white people. I'd posited from the beginning that this will generate riots, but I never anticipated the slow burn that we're currently experiencing.

If anything, I am of the belief that the black community in this country is literally waiting for the White House to issue some coded message about the need for racial upheaval. Call out the tin foil if you wish, but the blacks in this country are MUCH calmer than I expected they would be, and I am of the belief that the worst is coming.

Baraq and the fedgov are providing untold gravy from a cornucopia of benefits. Why riot when you get free housing, healthcare, food, subsidized utilities, cable tv/internet, Obamaphone, etc.
