Mom was smart. My Dad’s best friend lost his son in a cave-in of a backyard hole/tunnel he was digging.
We almost lost my uncle in a snow fort cave in, too! Grandma saw his foot sticking out and she pulled him to safety. He was blue, but he survived. ;)
