St. Louis Police Officer Accidentally Shot by His Partner

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A St. Louis police officer suffered a minor gun shot injury Thursday after being accidentally shot by his partner.

It happened just after 11:00 a.m. in the 3700 block of Keokuk, between Giles and Spring.

According to the St. Louis Police, the on-duty officer’s partner was shooting at an aggressive dog when the bullet ricocheted and hit him in the ear and arm.

When DNA testing becomes cheaper and more discriminatory in the next few years, we’ll try to figure out if she is a Carolina Dog or something of a later breed (she’s an Eastern Shore, Village Dog by word of mouth).

This could have happened at the Hawthrone CA incident two weeks ago. Instead of using nonlethal force the city now pays the LEO vacation time and faces a $25k lawsuit.
