One man has been arrested on suspicion of decapitating a referee at an amateur football match in Brazil.

The referee was supposedly quartered and then had his head cut off before it was stuck on a stake.

This shocking act of violence was in retaliation after he “stabbed” one of the players on the pitch in the Pius XII stadium, Maranhao. …

Worse. Hanged, drawn, and quartered, a most nasty way to end one’s days.

“Imagine what they would have done to Don Denkinger...”

Now wait a minute, that would have been justified

After what I saw the umps get away with the past two days against the Marlins, I don’t know. Yesterday was silly and stupid. Today was just robbery.

There was this one Mel Gibson flick I saw where after he was damned nearly sourged to death they jammed this crown of thorns on his head, nailed him to this big wooden cross, made him drink vinegar and then stabbed him in the side with a lance.

This story has been updated to include additional text as well as photos of the victim and accused perp. It also includes a link to a rather gruesome, related morgue video.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all....humanity surprises you with an even more ghastly level of depravity. “sigh”

I wish I could say I was surprised, but my opinion of humanity makes Schopenhauer seem like an optimist.

Hilarious.

I lived and worked there for years honey
And was married to a Carioca
Have two daughters with her.

Brazil is 55 percent or more non white.

And growing more so....given how non whites procreate

Precisely the direction we are headed.

And people of means there are endure a much lower quality of life and personal health and safety than most Americans are used to.

Lord you are are very high and mighty to be so ignorant

Care to query me....go right ahead.

And check your stats before firing back

He probably didn't care much what happened after he was hanged.

Don’t forget Boris

Brazil is a white nation so I’m told now

That is arguably the least informed statement I’ve ever seen here

Brazil is FUBAR

Its dangerous and corrupt

And getting worse

Its like a big version of my hometown of Jackson Mississippi or Memphis

With great beaches thrown in

Its blacker.

Around 8- 10 percent pure African

And 40-50 percent mulatto....though half those would deny that

Very few pure Indians but likely 25-30 percent have some Indian blood

Brasil has highest Jap population outside Japan anywhere

Most whites in south....opposite of here though south there is also most conservative culturally

Most pure blacks northeast

Brazil dominates SA....sorta....but Portuguese vibe is looser than Spanish

Brasil is simply more relaxed

Demographically it is a bit like Venezuela

Colombia is more Andean...and more serious organized issues

Brasil shares Latin American problems of the poor being huge percentage.....corruption rife.....crime out of hand

Argentina....Chile and Uruguay are the most civilized and advanced but still lag behind what we were

Myself I prefer Colombians....they are tough.....

Great looking women....strong Castillian culture....many climates....great mountains and agri lands

Beaches etc

But there is always that nagging LA Violencia

Brazil also has traffic that makes Atlanta or LA seem easy

Folks who can commute around from heliport to heliport in Sao Paulo

Its a cool place....man I had a blast there but its fairly ungovernable

It ain’t north America or Pacific tiger or Europe

Second tier and falling

Which is why so many are coming here

Is prefer though to say India

Actually he cared a great deal. One of the charming parts of the sentence was that he was hanged by the dangle and strangle method until he was mostly unconscious, cut down, revived, then bound to a table where he had his intestines ripped out and was emasculated. The quartering part was probably one that didn’t mater too much to the subject, since the drawing would pretty well kill him.

Which is precisely why our d-i-l's family members came to America.

Our d-i-l’s parents are pretty conservative, but I haven’t asked them how they vote.
