Disturbing video shows two women in bikinis being subjected to body cavity searches on the side of a Texas highway after they were stopped returning from a weekend at the beach.
Brandy Hamilton, 26, and Alexandria Randle, 24, are suing the Texas Department of Public Safety and the sheriff of Brazoria County, Texas, where the stop occurred. Their lawyer alleges that the search was meant to humiliate them and was conducted without probable cause.
The female officer who performed the invasive search, which included sticking a finger in the women's vaginas, is accused of using the same pair of gloves to search both women. The entire 40-minute traffic stop was caught on the trooper's dashboard camera.
Attorney Allie R. Booker told MailOnline her client's case is startling similar to a July 2012 case in Dallas in which DPS trooper Kelly Helleson aggressively searched, Angel Dobbs and her niece, Ashley Dobbs - including giving them a body cavity search and not changing gloves between searching the two women.

The woman cop who did the search was fired and the male cop was suspended. No body search should happen on the side of the road. Unbelievable.
I looked for the exact date plus thought it was probably on Sunday and the highway was Hwy. 45 leading from Galveston to Houston. Some years ago, I lived about two blocks off that highway in League City. Every Sunday the traffic going to Galveston was massive on 45 heading south to there. Then, in the late afternoon toward evening, we did not get on that highway as the drunks and sunburned were coming north on 45 to go back to Houston.
If cops stopped every car going to Houston on 45 at that time, they could likely find a reason to arrest most of them. But, nevertheless, body searches are absolutely wrong. And, using the same glove on both women, is criminal. I know the women are black and their bodies are not lovely, but forget that and assume it’s two lovely women with great bodies - those cops committed a crime no matter what the women looked like or if they had been smoking pot. It’s not, “You commit a crime and I can do anything with you I want.” Disgusting cops.
OMG that cop deserve a pay raise and a medal for doing that. To have guts to touch that and still live. From the picture you can the cop is not happy having do it.

Wasn’t there a similar case in Texas recently where some officers were charged for this very thing? Why was this allowed to happen again?

Yes, let me imagine one of my three daughters smoking weed in the car while driving with their aunt (my sister?). Hmmm. Then, let me imagine them speeding down the road, high as a kite. Hmmmm. Then let me imagine that they get stopped for speeding and the stench of Mary Jane comes out of the window when they are confronted by the trooper. Hmmmmm. Then let me imagine that the trooper not only smells dope, but sees a smoked blunt on the floor. Hmmmmmm. Then, when the trooper asks them to step out of the car, the zipper of their shorts is open. Hmmmmmmmm. Now let me imagine that the trooper calls a woman officer to check them over for hidden drugs and reaches into their lady-areas. Hmmmmmmmmm.
Well, if this really happened, then I would tell them DON'T DO DRUGS, KNUCKLEHEADS!!!!! This is what criminals get. And, the time in jail is going to be a lot worse, with a lot deeper cavity searches than this. Stay out of trouble. The reason this would be imaginary is that I made it clear to my girls that the cops would be a lot kinder than I would, if they did this. Now they tell me this was very good for them.
The permissive, self-absorbed, antinomian mentality of the world right now engenders this kind of brash law-breaking you see in these women. There is no fear before their eyes. The "pain" they feel is all in their pride. In case no one noticed, these women are criminals. Weed is illegal. Sorry, once again, I am on the side of the troopers.

Yes, I read to find out where it was and suspected 45 before I saw it was 288. Any road leading out of
Galveston on a Sunday late afternoon is not a good place to be. We just wouldn’t get on 45 at that time.
