AUSTIN -- State lawmakers headed back to work Monday at 2 p.m. for another special session. [...] The state's Republican leadership has guaranteed the abortion regulations bill will pass this time around. Gov. Rick Perry has urged lawmakers to work faster this time. He wants abortion bills debated and approved long before the deadline so a filibuster won't work.

And they also sent in SEIU protestors from out of state..they even had a child hold up a pro abort sign..how sick is THAT..I notice something, the ones who love baby murder so much have themselves, never been aborted..If they love abortion so much they should abort themselves lets see how they like it then

She actually wore a urinary cath in order to pull off that filibuster. You’d have to want to see more dead babies REALLY, REALLY BAD to resort to something like that. The woman is one sick unit.

President: Sarah Palin
Vice-President: Louie Gohmert
Chief Justice of the Supreme Court: Ted Cruz
Secretary of State: Allen West
Secretary of Defense: Rick Perry
National Security Advisor: Michele Bachmann

Along with those patriots serving We the People, within the first 100 days of President Palin’s adminstration, these agencies (among others) would be shuttered forever: EPA, NLRB, HEW, Department of Education, NPR, PBS, NEA and HHS. And, the Supreme Court, under the direction of the fearless Chief Justice Ted Cruz would overturn Roe v. Wade

Oh, to dream...
I believe we will have to take up arms against our fellow countrymen, or secede from the union before we see a fine administration like this. Not to mention you would have to rip out the tongues, break the fingers, of 80% of the media.

That Twit Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks is down there stirring up the troops. Other stars are there too. Won’t work in Texas! We could care less about your star status. Maybe a few Texas University coeds .

I don’t worry about Pharmacy as much as his Moslem friends. He has turned much of Texas over to them. Especially charted schools. He is their best buddy off camera.

“Some type of amnesty will happen...because you can’t round up 12 million people and kick them out.”

Worked in Operation Wetback. Simply enforce current law and they will also deport themselves. What you are claiming is we do not have a country because we cannot and should not enforce our laws or our borders. You suck as an American. Why are you on a pro-American website?

And they also sent in SEIU protestors from out of state..

I also saw the MoveOn pre-printed signs. Bused in, paid protesters for the pro-aborts vs pay-their-own-way, grassroots for the pro-baby side.

What does that tell you?

My opinion, take those baby killers who love to murder innocent babies so much and abort them..yeah, it would be the late late late late term abortion rule..these pieces of filth love abortion so much, let’s see how they like being aborted..I know it sounds harsh but I am sick of them, sick of seeing them celebrate baby murder

Back from day 2. I’ll post a first-hand report

Amazing, amazing days happened today and yesterday. Today was more businesslike, but we got what we needed to get done by filling the hearing rooms full of prolifers.

They had an open mike and the prolifers are (at least when I left at 630pm CST, sharing their testimonies. You get one story, but it’s just one amazing story after another.

I spent most of my time helping people find the registration booths and getting everything set up. So mostly greeting, wandering around, keeping an eye on things and walking. Lots of walking.

First 5 hours were almost all prolifers only. After three it was about even. Most of are folks have already testified and even with there being some pro abort folks showing up, we had more. Big reversal from yesterday where there were about 500+ prolifers and 2000 pro abortion folks out on the lawn.

Yesterday, what to say. Started off in the rotunda. I got there early and met and spoke with the prolifers who were there. Lots of media, I was interviewed once in the rotunda. Media pretty fair - pro aborts were set up and prepared on the rotunda floor, while the prolifers were on the second floor.

Then, most of the prolifers showed up shortly after 10. What followed is something I haven’t seen ever. We had a procession of about 400+ prolifers all marching and singing Amazing Grace into the rotunda. We continued singing for about 45 minutes with the pro abortion folks trying to shout us down. We were louder, they couldn’t match us in the rotunda, and tried to blast us with their speakers from outside.

Outside was a carnival. From the front steps you had about 2000 pro abortion folks, with music, food, etc. Party atmosphere, frisbees and stuff. They were much more organized than we were. Coathangers, the usual stuff was around and they were very confrontational. After we sang, we went outside to pray in a semicircle surrounding the Texas Capitol building spacing out all our prolife folks. Rather than the noisy blaring you had a silent protest encircling them.

After that - most of the prolifers went back into the rotunda. From what I heard the session started and we had excellent representation in the senate gallery. I wasn’t there. There were 2 prolifers standing out on the steps in front of the Capitol with a poster of an aborted baby tossed from a Dallas abortuary. I decided it was more helpful to help them outside than come inside. We stood together the three of us, and they tried to block us so that they couldn’t see what abortion actually does to a woman. So we set up right on the pillar by the steps where they couldn’t block us without equipment they didn’t possess. I was interviewed twice here - the standard questions. “Why do you support the use of graphic images” Had one UT student (about the right age come up and he was very respectful. Then when the sign fellow had to go, I helped him to his car and then went back to the Capitol. Met up with the lady who brought the cross that we marched in with who was sitting outside the capitol and we all prayed together.

Second person, a young man, looked about 18 asked me about why I was there and we had an excellent conversation. Said that I had convinced him that the prolife argument was stronger.

Then - we went and got some dinner headed off. We went to a prayer session after and then I ended up driving to San Antonio. Very long day to meet some of the organizers for prep for today. Long, long day for me, but we accomplished what we set out to do on Monday. Even though we did not have the numbers, we were very effective.

Thank you...and bless you...JCB...for the recap of the time you spent standing up for the innocents, at our State Capitol.

What an amazing blessing to be in the midst of it all, witnessing to those in need of hearing and seeing what we are up against from the proaborts.

I love that "our side" held steadfast with prayer and singing Amazing Grace. I pray for His amazing grace to hold close and safe all who stand for protecting the tiniest in life, who have no voice. Again, thank you and bless you.

I’ve seen quite a bit. I’ve never seen anything like that chorus of Amazing Grace.

I am hearing from my sources this morning that HB2 has passed the House State Affairs Committee with an Overwhelming majority.

The Committee hold is finished. No more delays. House is to vote next on HB2 than the Senate.

The Blaze has great coverage of this. There's video of the chorus of Amazing Grace, contrasted with the hate of the pro-aborts.

Well, it was thrilling to be there for it. It was completely spontaneous. We did not plan for it.
